Error: Invalid character in numeric input C. (76)

What does this message mean?

QAD users will get this message when a process, such as a CIM process or Data Loaders, feeds data to a QAD maintenance program that has a field value that is contrary to what QAD expects. As an example, the data to load to a specific field may contain character values when the field in QAD is set to numeric values only.

If you encounter this problem while running a CIM load, you will need to debug the output to find what is causing the error. Most likely there is an unexpected pop-up window prompting you for some additional information. Watch DIY CIM Load Guide by Don Lindsey where he explains all tips and tricks related to CIM Load.

If you encounter this problem while running one of our Data Loaders, please contact us to get help to resolve the problem.
