Web Backlog

Browser based web application, built to speed-up production processes and shorten order lead time by providing real-time vital information directly to all non-QAD personnel on the floor involved in operations.

Web Backlog has multiple adjustable views for accommodating needs of each department to follow and act in accordance with some specific backlog data. Users manage the backlog by flagging processed orders, changing orders status, updating internal order comments, i.e. using the app as inter-department communication platform.

High priority orders immediately are highlighted. The program automatically identifies material shortages and highlights orders, where at least one lower level of BOM component is not available in stock.

 

Customer Service Workbench

When customer is quoted incorrectly or order has an error, it will result in bigger issues later on. If such problems arise frequently, they will cause customers to order less or even to leave. It may cause company’s margin to decrease, which is also bad. The importance of generating accurate quotes and getting correct orders is very high.

Your production planners will be able to visually manipulate work orders in a convenient format, using drag and drop and then save the schedule to QAD. Once the last approver processes the requisition, it’s forwarded to an assigned buyer, who converts PR into PO automatically via QAD Standard function in GRS module.
