	How do we know if we’re counting the right items often enough?
You can determine this by reviewing the setup values in QAD. The system provides tools that show how many items you’re counting, the frequency of your ABC analysis, and whether you might need to assign more counters or adjust time allocations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
	Are our counts accurate and helping drive root cause correction?
Root cause analysis is central to an effective cycle counting program. Use reason codes to identify recurring issues and track whether they’re being properly analyzed and corrected. You can run reports in QAD to evaluate if root cause data is being consistently captured and addressed.
	Is the workload for cycle counting realistic and sustainable?
Evaluate this regularly—ideally on a weekly basis—to ensure you have enough counters assigned to each ABC classification. Review whether the time and effort required for counting are reasonable and if the process can be sustained long-term without overburdening your team.
