What is the primary change when moving from Work Orders to Production Orders?

In the 1.4.6 and 1.4.16 menus, understanding how the allocation policies, pick policies, transfer allocation policies, and issue policies work by themselves and in combinations is the most challenging aspect of Production Orders. Also, the tools that were available through multiple menus—Work Orders, Repetitive, Flow, etc.—are in one menu in Production Orders. it takes a mind change to get used to that kind of functionality.
